Peter Sinfield, influential prog rock songwriter, dies at 80

Peter Sinfield, a key figure in the progressive rock scene, has died at the age of 80. He co-founded the band King Crimson and wrote lyrics for many of their songs. His death was announced on the official King Crimson website. Sinfield was known for his work on King Crimson's first four albums and for producing Roxy Music's debut album. He also collaborated with Emerson, Lake and Palmer, writing several of their popular songs. In addition to his work with rock bands, Sinfield wrote for various artists, including Celine Dion. His song "Think Twice," co-written with Andy Hill, became a major hit in 1994.
