Petrol bomb attack investigated in north Belfast
Detectives in Belfast are looking into a petrol bomb attack that occurred on Saturday night. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) received a report at 11 PM about a petrol bomb being thrown into a garden in the Hoylake Park area. Fortunately, the bomb did not explode, and only minor damage was reported. While responding to the scene, officers were informed about a second homemade device that was also found at the property. This second device also failed to ignite. A PSNI spokesperson said detectives are trying to find out why this incident happened. They are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area or has dash-cam or CCTV footage to reach out to them.
