Pharmacy student assaulted for speaking to Hindu girl

Four men were arrested in Belagavi, Karnataka, for assaulting a pharmacy student, Allauddin Peerzade, on March 17. The attack occurred after the men confronted him for talking to a Hindu girl in a field. The suspects, identified as Sudesh Patil, Santosh Jadhav, Sumit More, and Jai Kumar, allegedly assaulted Peerzade after confirming their religions. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
