Phenom unveils 20 AI agents for various industries
Phenom, an HR technology company, has launched over 20 new AI agents aimed at improving specific functions in various industries. This announcement was made during its annual conference in Philadelphia last week. The new tools include Ontologies, a collection of strategic HR agents, and Agent Studio, which offers specialized agents for tasks like candidate sourcing and assessment. These agents are tailored for industries including health care, financial services, manufacturing, and retail. They are named based on their specific roles, such as Healthcare Sourcing Agent or Hospitality Skills Assessment Agent. Phenom's CEO, Mahe Bayireddi, emphasized the importance of customization. He noted that recruiting for different roles, like nurses versus financial analysts, requires distinct approaches. The Ontologies category also gathers data to help organizations plan their workforce and understand employee skills and productivity. The Agent Studio feature enables users to create custom agents using existing templates. This customization aims to save time for HR professionals. Experts believe that AI is becoming more common in the recruiting field. Bayireddi pointed out that general AI agents often lack the specificity needed for different roles across industries. He explained that recruiting agents can be fine-tuned using local job data, such as unemployment rates, to better serve specific needs. Phenom's vice president of product management, Kumar Ananthanarayana, indicated plans for more templates in April. Some clients have already created their own agents to help with areas like customer service. There are many potential use cases for these agents, which aim to streamline HR workflows.
