Philippine Airlines flight overshoots runway at Bacolod-Silay Airport

A Philippine Airlines (PAL) Express flight overshot the runway at Bacolod-Silay Airport on Friday morning. The flight, arriving from Cebu, landed around 5:30 a.m. and experienced a minor runway excursion. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines reported that heavy rainfall affected braking efficiency. Fortunately, all passengers and crew were unharmed and received assistance from airport personnel.
