Philippines allocates P130 million in aid for flood-affected Bicol Region
The Philippine government has allocated P130 million in aid for the Bicol Region, which was severely impacted by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine. This includes P50 million for Albay, P30 million for Naga City, and P50 million for Camarines Sur.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. assured residents that necessary supplies, such as food packs and hygiene kits, are available. He stated that systems are in place to support those affected by the flooding.
Tropical Storm Leon is currently being monitored but is expected to stay away from the Philippine landmass. No wind signals have been raised, although some areas may see Signal No. 1 later today.
