Phillipsburg Town Council discusses budget challenges March 19

The Phillipsburg Town Council will meet on Wednesday to discuss the budget for the 2025 fiscal year. This is their second meeting on the budget, and important decisions will be made affecting local taxpayers. The town is facing financial challenges, including the need to exceed its current temporary budget. Recently, the council announced it might sell its wastewater assets to another entity. To help with this, they hired financial advisors from Phoenix Advisors to review options and contracts.
