The images were taken by a photography studio in Paris and posted online. The studio, The Best Photo Paris, later stated they were unaware of Taecyeon's celebrity status. They apologized for the incident, explaining they treated the couple like any other clients and had no intention of exposing their private lives. Taecyeon's agency clarified that the photos were not from a proposal but were taken during his girlfriend's birthday celebration. The studio has since deleted the post after realizing the misunderstanding.
