Piscataway appoints Johanna Ruberto as interim superintendent
The Piscataway Board of Education has appointed Johanna Ruberto as interim superintendent, starting in April. She replaces Frank Ranelli, who is leaving for a new position in Lower Merion, Pennsylvania. Ruberto is an experienced educator, previously serving as superintendent in Manville and working in several interim roles since her retirement. She plans to focus on maintaining district programs during the transition. The Board is actively searching for a permanent superintendent, with assistance from the New Jersey School Boards Association. This process is expected to take six to nine months.
