Pit bull mix rescued from dumpster in Ann Arbor

Police in Ann Arbor, Michigan, are searching for the person who discarded a dog in a dumpster. The incident occurred on March 25, when a male pit bull mix with mostly white fur was found inside a dumpster on Wolverine Drive. The dog had no collar or microchip, making it difficult to identify its owner. Authorities noted that the animal has a large abscess or tumor on its side. Officers from the Ann Arbor Police Department, along with Washtenaw County Animal Control, rescued the dog and transported it to the Humane Society of Huron Valley for medical care. The Humane Society is asking for donations to help with the dog's treatment.
