Pizza manager transitions from homelessness to helping others
Katarian “KT” Andrews, a manager at Sal's Pizza, has transitioned from homelessness to stability. After sleeping in the store last year, he now manages multiple locations and is raising funds for St. Francis House, a nonprofit supporting the homeless. Andrews faced challenges from a young age, including job loss and safety concerns. With help from St. Francis, he secured a management position at Sal's Pizza and found housing after the owner, Sal Lupoli, intervened on his behalf. Now, Andrews is committed to helping others in similar situations. He has hired three individuals from the St. Francis program and is participating in a fundraiser aiming to raise $20,000 for the nonprofit.
