Players demand buffs for Warlock's Solipsism Class Item

Destiny 2 players are asking for improvements to the Warlock's Solipsism exotic item as anticipation builds for the release of Heresy Act 3. The Solipsism Class Item was introduced with the game's The Final Shape expansion but has been criticized by many players for being ineffective. Warlocks who use Solipsism have expressed disappointment over its performance since its launch. Popular combinations with this exotic have seen their appeal decrease due to gameplay changes. To compensate, some players have turned to alternative methods, like using Hellion turrets, to boost their builds. On a Destiny subreddit, one player called the Solipsism “terrible” and suggested that Warlocks would be better off with standard items. They highlighted issues such as the focus on Rifts and the ineffective perks associated with Solipsism. Many others agreed, noting that the Class Item does not provide enough variety. Players also criticized Solipsism for not working well with popular abilities like Phoenix Dive. They feel that the lack of synergy limits the effectiveness of Warlock builds. While Bungie has yet to detail any upcoming changes for Heresy Act 3, fans are hopeful that improvements will be made before the Act launches in April.
