Players earn Knowledge Points through non-violent tasks

In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, players need Knowledge Points to unlock powerful skills. This system is separate from XP, which players gain from typical in-game actions. To earn Knowledge Points, players must participate in specific non-violent activities. As they explore the game map, they will find shrines and temples marked with orange icons. Each location requires players to complete an objective, like finding lost pages or praying at shrines. Players can track these activities by using the left trigger to highlight glowing white orbs. Some tasks can only be completed by specific characters, like Naoe or Yasuke, and their unique abilities. Knowledge Points contribute to a player's progress in unlocking stronger skills. There are six ranks in total. Achieving the maximum rank will reveal new Knowledge trees, which need even more points to access the final skills.
