Players must complete tasks to unlock Shadow Projects
In Assassin's Creed Shadows, completing Shadow Projects is a bit tricky. Unlike a typical battle pass, these projects consist of milestone reward tracks that involve daily and weekly tasks. You won't be able to start them right away, even if you can see them in the menu. It takes some time to progress before you can tackle these projects. To unlock Shadow Projects, players must go through an Animus breach. Look for a glitchy portal east of Amagasaki Castle in Izumi Settsu. This portal will take you to a different setting where you will hear from The Guide. Completing this unlocks various Animus systems, including Shadow Projects. To level up your knowledge rank, you'll need to complete Anomalies. These are daily missions that can give you 600 to 800 data fragments each. You can use these fragments to progress through active Shadow Projects. Anomalies involve tasks like earning Mon or interacting with certain activities. You can find these missions on your map. There are currently two Shadow Projects to work on. It’s beneficial to know the rewards before committing to a project. Each project has a mix of currency rewards, keys for the Exchange, and legendary gear items for characters Yasuke and Naoe. The Legacy Shadow Project focuses on gear for Naoe, while The Awakening Shadow Project mainly offers rewards for Yasuke. Each project features unique legendary items, such as a naginata, armor, and masks, along with special abilities attached to them. Players should plan their strategy to maximize their benefits from these rewards.
