A fire broke out at a condominium complex in Plymouth on Friday evening, making several units uninhabitable. The incident happened at 7 Tideview Path in the Pine Hills Village Condominiums. Firefighters received the call around 8 p.m. and found flames coming from a second-floor window. The fire started when a resident left food unattended on the stove for about 15 minutes. When they returned, the food had ignited, and the fire quickly spread to the third floor and into the roof. Firefighters reported that six units suffered fire, smoke, and water damage, while another six had smoke damage. Despite the rapid spread of the fire, firefighters managed to extinguish the flames in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the building is now considered uninhabitable. The American Red Cross is helping residents find temporary housing. Firefighters from Bourne and Carver assisted with the effort, as Plymouth Fire Department personnel were busy with other emergencies.
