PML-N and PPP to hold monthly power-sharing meetings
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have agreed to hold monthly meetings to discuss power-sharing in Punjab. The next meeting is set for April 12, 2025, following a recent meeting at the Punjab Governor House. This agreement comes amid tensions over the implementation of their power-sharing deal from the 2024 elections. The PPP has expressed dissatisfaction with the PML-N's adherence to the agreement and has raised concerns about unilateral decisions made by the current government. Both parties aim to address their differences and strengthen their political presence in each other's regions. The PPP has clarified it is not seeking bureaucratic appointments in Punjab, focusing instead on public service.
