Poco F7 series launches globally on March 27, 2025

Poco has announced that it will launch its new F7 series, including the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra, on March 27 in Singapore. The news was shared on Poco Global's social media platforms. The event will showcase the full features of the new smartphones. Leaked images suggest that the F7 Ultra will come in yellow and black color options. The Poco F7 Pro is expected to be based on the Redmi K80 and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Meanwhile, the F7 Ultra is likely to have the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, based on the Redmi K80 Pro. Both models are said to offer a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Battery life will differ slightly between the two devices. The F7 Pro may have a 6000mAh battery, while the F7 Ultra is expected to have a 5300mAh battery. Both will support fast charging, with the F7 Pro at 90W and the F7 Ultra at 120W wired and 50W wireless. Both smartphones will run on HyperOS 2, which is based on Android 15. The F7 Pro is rumored to include a triple-camera system, while the F7 Ultra may have a more advanced camera setup. Expect features like an IP68 rating, indicating water and dust resistance. The F7 series will also include the Poco F7, which is expected to feature the new Snapdragon 8s Elite chip. This model may launch in India in the second quarter of the year.
