In her post, Pokwang called on GCash to address the issue, highlighting her struggles as a business owner supporting single mothers. She shared screenshots of the stolen amounts and expressed her disappointment in being deceived. Following her complaint, GCash released a statement saying the missing funds were due to errors in a reconciliation process and assured users that their accounts are safe. Many other users also reported similar issues, but it remains unclear if their funds will be returned.
