Police arrest suspect in child abduction case

Richmond police arrested Donovan Simmons Sr., 37, early Wednesday after a report of his children's abduction. He allegedly violated a protection order by leaving with them in a Dodge Ram. Police responded to the Quality Inn & Suites and coordinated with other agencies. Simmons was located and arrested by Seymour police shortly after. The children were safely returned to their mother following the arrest.
