Police chase in Texas ends in fatal crash killing innocent man
A high-speed police chase in Texas ended tragically on Thursday when murder suspect Gabriel Cerna crashed into another vehicle, killing an innocent elderly man. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on the interstate. Cerna had been pursued by Dallas Police after he refused to stop in connection with a December shooting. He reportedly pushed a woman from his vehicle before fleeing, leading to a chase of about two and a half miles. After the crash, Cerna exited his vehicle with a gun and stated he wanted to call his mother. Officers shot him multiple times when he did not comply with commands. He was taken to the hospital, and his condition is unknown.
