Police dog finds 7.5kg ganja in Bidar district

The operation began around 3:30 PM. Police were acting on reliable information about a 60-year-old man, Ambaji Kondiba Chavvan, who was allegedly distributing ganja from a small hut in his field. Deepa, the police dog, was brought in to assist with the search. The dog discovered the ganja hidden in a bag under tur bran fodder. After the find, police arrested Chavvan in connection with the drug. Several officials were present during the operation, including tahsildar Mallashetti Chidre and other police personnel. The Santpur police station officially recorded the incident.
