Police file case against woman for illegal waste dumping at Kochi metro station

Kochi metro police have filed a case against a 45-year-old woman for allegedly dumping waste in the washroom at Thykoodam metro station. The incident took place on February 20. CCTV footage captured the woman entering the washroom with bags and leaving shortly after. Workers later found the bags filled with waste materials. The police identified her using a health card found in one of the bags. The case is registered under a law concerning negligent acts that could spread disease.
