Police identify Brianne Pardue as shooting victim
Police have identified the woman who was shot and killed in Southeast Portland. She is 45-year-old Brianne Pardue. The shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Monday at a home on Southeast Harrison Street. When officers arrived, they found Pardue dead inside the house. A 35-year-old man named Joshua Thielbar has been arrested. He faces charges of second-degree murder, unlawful use of a firearm, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Thielbar appeared in court on Tuesday. Authorities have not shared details about what led to the shooting. They have also not confirmed whether Pardue and Thielbar knew each other. A friend remembered Pardue as a wonderful person and mentioned she had an older son and a young daughter.
