Police respond to medical episode at Liverpool hotel

Police responded to an emergency at The Municipal Hotel in Liverpool city centre early on Friday morning. Officers were called around 5:30 AM after reports that a man in his 30s was experiencing a medical episode. A large police presence arrived, with about a dozen police vehicles seen on Dale Street. The area was secured, and videos showed multiple police cars and vans at the scene. The police maintained a presence until around 8 AM. Officials confirmed that the man was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
