Police save young man from suicide in Madurai

In Madurai, two police officers and a Home Guard volunteer were recognized for saving a young man's life. This incident happened on Wednesday and involved a quick response from the officers. Madurai City Commissioner of Police J. Loganathan praised Special Sub-Inspector Ramesh, Head Constable Ayyanar, and Home Guard Lakshmanan for their actions. He awarded them with certificates and cash rewards for their bravery and presence of mind. While on duty, the officers noticed the young man attempting to harm himself. They talked to him and managed to prevent him from taking this drastic step. The young man later revealed that he was struggling with debt-related issues.
