Police seek information on two bodies found in Detroit
Police in Detroit are asking for help after finding two bodies in a basement on the city's west side. The bodies were discovered on March 11 by a woman who returned home to find her door locked. When she entered the house, she found a deceased woman at the bottom of the basement stairs. She quickly called 911. Police later identified the victims as Dwayne Pinkston, 60, and Barbara Jack, 68. Both were found deceased in the basement of a home on Desoto Street. Detectives have released photos of the victims to seek leads in the case. Currently, there is no known motive or suspect. Police are trying to gather information to understand what happened. Detroit Police Deputy Chief Jacqueline Pritchett is encouraging anyone with information to contact the police. They are hoping the public can help bring justice to the victims' families. People can call the Homicide Unit or Crime Stoppers to provide tips, which can be submitted anonymously.
