Police seek woman who attacked 69-year-old in Manhattan
Police in Manhattan are looking for a woman who attacked a 69-year-old passenger on an F train. The incident happened on March 6 during an argument between the two women. Witnesses say the attack began after a verbal dispute on the train at Delancey St. station around 1:40 p.m. The suspect allegedly punched the older woman in the face multiple times, causing bruising and swelling. Emergency services took the victim to New-York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, where she is in stable condition. Police have described the attacker as having short blonde hair. At the time of the incident, she was wearing black glasses, a beige jacket, a green shirt, black leggings, white socks, and black shoes. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the attack to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls made to the hotline are kept confidential.
