Police have seized a stolen $285,000 McLaren from the home of Zihua Zhang, 37, in Irvine. Zhang is linked to an interstate auto theft ring that has stolen multiple luxury vehicles. Zhang was previously stopped while driving a stolen Dodge Durango SRT worth $88,000. Authorities found fraudulent vehicle identification numbers, license plates, checks, and three unregistered firearms at his residence. Investigators have been monitoring Zhang for nearly a month and believe he is connected to at least five stolen vehicles. He reportedly used a device to block GPS tracking signals.
