Police stations at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj have been named after notable religious figures, historical sites, and martyrs. A total of 56 police stations and 155 outposts have been established across the 4,000-hectare area. This is the first time that such a large number of police stations have been set up for the Kumbh Mela. The police have divided the area into 10 zones and 25 sectors to enhance security.
