Porsche Singapore Classic postponed due to heavy rain

Heavy rain has delayed the start of the 2025 Porsche Singapore Classic golf tournament. The event was set to kick off at Laguna National Golf Resort Club on Thursday, March 20. However, bad weather forced organizers to postpone the opening round. A pro-am event scheduled for the day before was also cancelled due to the rain. The persistent downpour turned the day into a challenge for everyone involved. A spokesperson for the DP World Tour announced that the first round will now take place on Friday, March 21, if weather conditions allow. Round two is planned for Saturday, March 22, as originally scheduled. The DP World Tour will keep monitoring the weather situation leading up to the rescheduled round.
