Portland State football returns to Providence Park in 2025

Portland State Vikings football will return to Providence Park for a game on November 15, 2025, against the Montana Grizzlies. This marks the first game at the downtown stadium since 2018. A new contract with the Portland Timbers allows for the possibility of more Vikings games at Providence Park in the future. The stadium has primarily hosted soccer teams since 2018. Portland State football previously played at Providence Park from 1967 to 2018. The Vikings have been using Hillsboro Stadium since the end of the 2018 season.
