Posters mock BJP following Lalu Prasad's questioning in Patna
In Patna, posters mocking the BJP and central investigative agencies appeared after Lalu Prasad, the chief of the RJD, was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for nearly four hours. This questioning was part of an investigation into a land-for-jobs scam. The posters, seen in many locations including outside Lalu's home and the RJD office, show that Lalu is not intimidated by these investigations. The slogans on the posters state, "Na jhuka hun, na jhukunga...Tiger abhi zinda hai," which means "I am neither bowed, nor will I bow...The tiger is still alive." The imagery depicts Lalu standing strong while central agencies and BJP workers try to drag him down with ropes. RJD spokesperson Rishi Mishra criticized the central agencies, claiming they are often more active during elections. He accused the BJP of lacking confidence, suggesting they misuse these agencies to influence elections. He believes this tactic failed in previous elections and will fail again. On the other hand, the JD(U) mocked the posters, calling Lalu a "jungle raj wale tiger." JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar pointed out that while Lalu may be seen as a tiger from the past, the current political situation is very different, comparing it to zoo safaris where tigers are more controlled.
