Power stocks rise as BSE Sensex gains 514 points

Power stocks experienced a rise in trading on Friday morning. By 11:05 AM, Inox Wind Energy Ltd. saw an increase of 6.41%. Other notable gains included Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd. at 6.37% and Adani Green Energy Ltd. at 6.07%. The overall market also improved, with the NSE Nifty50 index up 155.5 points, reaching 23346.15. Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex increased by 514.12 points to 76862.18. Aside from power stocks, companies like Hero MotoCorp Ltd. and Coal India Ltd. also recorded gains, rising 2.85% and 2.65%, respectively. However, some stocks faced losses. KKV Agro Powers Ltd. dropped 4.69%, followed by Suzlon Energy Ltd. at 0.81% down. Infosys Ltd. led the losses in the Nifty pack, falling by 1.44%. Other companies, including IndusInd Bank Ltd. and Hindalco Industries Ltd., also reported minor declines.
