The anime "Solo Leveling" is getting close to the end of its second season, which focuses on the important Jeju Island Arc. During that time, many hunters died when the island was sealed off due to a dungeon break. Recently, a preview for the upcoming episode spoiled a major character's death. Goto Ryuji, a hunter from Japan, is shown facing off against the Ant King. In a shocking moment, Ryuji meets his end quickly after claiming to be the "King of Humans" before being killed by the powerful monster. Despite his central role in the story, many fans do not feel sad about his demise. Ryuji was seen as unlikable, as he secretly plotted against the Korean hunters to weaken them. His goal was to become a legendary National Level Hunter by clearing a challenging dungeon, but he underestimated the Ant King and was defeated before he could prove himself.
