Prince Charles makes first official royal appearance in Luxembourg
Prince Charles of Luxembourg made a memorable appearance during his first official royal outing this week. He joined his parents, Hereditary Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Duchess Stéphanie, for the inauguration of a school named after him. The event took place at the "Prënz Charles School" in Steinsel. Prince Charles, born in 2020, participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and showed enthusiasm for a train painting on the wall. He was dressed in a maroon jumper and brown trousers, a charming outfit for the occasion. A sweet moment occurred when Charles was held by his father while unveiling a plaque for the school. The young prince received gifts from students and even signed the school's registry book. Photos from the event were shared on social media, highlighting the family's presence and the joyful atmosphere. About 600 guests attended the ceremony, which featured performances by children. This outing marks a significant moment for Charles, who has mostly been seen during family events until now. His outing comes as his father prepares to become the next Grand Duke following Grand Duke Henri's planned abdication in October 2025. Grand Duke Henri has already passed on many responsibilities to his son. He expressed the desire to give Prince Guillaume more duties, stating he needed to slow down as he ages.
