Prince George to inherit Nansledan estate in Newquay

Prince George is set to inherit a vast estate in Newquay, one of Britain’s most popular party towns. This estate is part of the Duchy of Cornwall, which includes 135,000 acres of land. Currently, his father, the Prince of Wales, manages the Duchy. The estate also features the Nansledan development, aimed at creating a vibrant community with homes, shops, and leisure spaces. Newquay has built a reputation as a party destination, especially for stag and hen parties, but it is shifting towards a focus on dining and cultural experiences. Newquay, located on the Atlantic Coast, was ranked one of the nation’s favorite seaside towns in a survey. The land for Nansledan is being developed into a sustainable community with around 4,000 new homes, generating job opportunities. Prince William took on the Duchy in 2022 after the passing of his grandmother. The Duchy, established in 1337, consists of about 52,449 hectares across 20 counties, primarily in the South West of England. Its revenues support Prince William and his family. The overall value of the Duchy is over £1 billion. This wealth is intended to provide for future generations, including Prince George, who will eventually assume responsibility for the estate.
