Prince William attends Notre-Dame reopening and meets Donald Trump in Paris
Prince William arrived in Paris to represent King Charles at the reopening of Notre-Dame cathedral. The historic site closed in April 2019 after a devastating fire. It has since undergone extensive renovations funded by over €840 million in donations. French President Emmanuel Macron attended the ceremony, praising the efforts to restore the cathedral. He highlighted the significance of the rebuilding work, calling the fire a "national wound." The cathedral will now reopen after five years of silence. During his visit, Prince William met with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and First Lady Jill Biden. This marks their first meeting since Trump's state visit in 2019.
