Prince William honors Princess Diana at Windsor Castle
Prince William recently honored the memory of his late mother, Princess Diana, with a significant gesture at Windsor Castle. This event took place during an investiture ceremony. Kensington Palace announced that Prince William granted an Order of the British Empire (OBE) to Alex Holmes, a 36-year-old anti-bullying campaigner. Holmes is the deputy CEO of the Diana Award charity and created an initiative to combat bullying in schools. The palace shared images of Holmes receiving the award from Prince William, along with two other recipients. After the ceremony, Holmes expressed his gratitude, saying it was a "huge honour" to receive the award from the Prince of Wales. He noted it was especially meaningful to be recognized by someone he has worked with at the Diana Award for many years. Prince William's wife, Kate Middleton, did not attend this event. The ceremony came just one day after William made a notable appearance at the St. Patrick’s Day parade.
