Prince William strengthens UK-US relations through diplomacy

Prince William has been identified as a key figure in engaging with former US President Donald Trump. William met Trump in Paris last December during the reopening of Notre-Dame cathedral. Bond highlighted William's diplomatic grounding, having learned from his grandmother and father. She mentioned his previous visit to the West Bank, where he discussed hopes for peace. During the Paris meeting, Trump reportedly praised William, calling him a "good looking guy." Bond described this meeting as part of William's role in using the monarchy's soft power, which is especially important in challenging times. Recently, William traveled to Estonia to enhance UK relations with the NATO ally and support British troops stationed there. He visited Tapa army base as Colonel-in-Chief of the Mercian Regiment, which leads NATO operations in Estonia, housing the UK’s largest permanent overseas military presence. Additionally, Trump has expressed respect for the British Royal Family and King Charles. There are rumors about possible plans for the US to become an "associate member" of the Commonwealth, which would reignite ties with the monarchy.
