Prince William visits South Africa to promote climate action and award Earthshot grants

The Earthshot awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday in a temporary dome in Cape Town. This year's finalists include projects from Kenya, Ecuador, and Kazakhstan, addressing various environmental challenges. William aims to inspire young people in Africa, a region facing severe climate impacts. William's visit follows his brother Harry's recent trip to South Africa. He will also visit a local high school to join a rugby practice, highlighting his interest in the sport. Kate and their children are not accompanying him on this trip.
