Property dealer found dead in Nalanda, suspected murder
The body of a 33-year-old property dealer named Neeraj Kumar, also known as Jhunnu, was found in a well in Rajgir, Nalanda district, on Tuesday morning. He had two bullet wounds on his body, and police believe his murder could be linked to a land dispute. Neeraj, who lived in Nai Pokhar and was the son of Vijay Singh, went missing after leaving home for a walk on Monday evening. His family reported him missing to the Rajgir police station on Tuesday morning. Local residents discovered some of Neeraj's belongings, including his slippers, spectacles, and cellphone, near the well, which is about one kilometer from his home. Upon arriving at the scene, police found blood spots near the well and used a forensic team and dog squad to assist in their investigation. They recovered Neeraj's body from the well. Sunil Kumar Singh, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Rajgir, said the body was sent to the district hospital for a postmortem.
