Protest in Kakori over double murder of youths
Family members of two murdered youths expressed their anger by protesting in Kakori. They placed the victims' bodies on Mohan Road, causing a disruption. The police quickly arrived to manage the situation. Officers, including senior officials and a special police unit, were sent to maintain order. The incident happened in Paan Kheda village, where locals were upset when the bodies of Rohit Rajput and Manoj Rajput were brought home. The two men were friends. Reports suggest their murder is linked to an affair involving a married woman. Rohit worked for the railways, and his father is a security guard for a government minister. He last seen leaving his house for a birthday party without sharing details. Manoj's father said he was unaware of his son's whereabouts before receiving news of the murder. Politicians visited the village to offer their condolences. Former Union minister Kaushal Kishore spoke with the victims' families, promising that justice would be pursued. Other political leaders from different parties also showed their support, assuring assistance to the grieving families. Local police are actively investigating the case, according to Inspector Nawab Ahmed.
