Protesters from Jewish Voice for Peace gathered at Trump Tower on Thursday to demand the release of Mahmoud Khalil, a pro-Palestinian activist arrested for immigration violations. Police arrested 98 demonstrators for trespassing and obstruction. Khalil, a permanent U.S. resident, was detained outside his apartment and faces deportation. He is currently held in Louisiana.
