Pune reports five cheating cases totaling ₹56 lakh

Five cases of cheating were reported in Pune on March 19. Together, these cases involved a total fraud of ₹56 lakh. The first complaint came from Tarik Abdul Rehmantambe, who said that some individuals cheated the owners of a theatre. The owners had allowed these people to manage the property, but were prevented from entering it. The accused allegedly took between ₹15-16 lakh. In the second case, police arrested Rajesh Ramgulab Kumar and Vandana Bhimrao Shirsath. They are accused of cheating a person out of ₹9.50 lakh by misleading him about investment returns in the share market. The third case involves Yuvraj Chandrakant More, who filed a complaint about Arindam Paul. Paul is accused of taking a loan of ₹30.17 lakh from a finance company. In the fourth case, Vishal Bapu Patil, a delivery boy, has been booked for stealing cash and goods worth ₹1.84 lakh from his company. Lastly, Datta Sadashiv Tengale was arrested for cheating during an exam for a government inspector position. He is now in police custody. So far, no arrests have been made in all the other cases.
