Punjab CM hands job letters to 951 new teachers
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann presented appointment letters to 951 newly recruited ETT teachers in Ludhiana on Wednesday. He highlighted that his government has provided 52,606 jobs in just 36 months. Mann emphasized that the recruitment process is solid, with no appointments challenged in court. During his speech, Mann encouraged the new teachers to lead an education revolution in Punjab. He acknowledged that teachers play a crucial role in shaping future leaders and professionals. He criticized past governments for assigning teachers non-teaching duties, stating that his administration is focused on making sure teachers work exclusively in schools. Mann reflected on the previous state of schools, noting that many teaching aspirants protested out of frustration. He claimed that the current government is changing this trend by filling job vacancies quickly and fairly, without corruption. He also mentioned that more young people are returning to Punjab from abroad, motivated to contribute to their state. Additionally, Mann stated that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) plans to collaborate with like-minded parties to oppose the BJP. He expressed concern over the BJP's use of delimitation to undermine political opponents. Mann plans to travel to Chennai to protest against what he described as the Union government's undemocratic practices.
