Police have dismantled a drug trafficking network operating between Punjab and Haryana. Four people were arrested, and authorities seized 4.27 kilograms of heroin during the operation. The heroin is valued at over Rs 20 crore in the international market. The investigation began when police stopped three young men in Tohana and found 270 grams of heroin in their vehicle. The suspects were identified as Harbans from Sangrur, Kuldwinder (also known as Vicky) from Sangrur, and Panveer from Tohana. They were charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. During questioning, the trio disclosed that their heroin supply came from a man named Jagseer, who lives in Sangrur. Acting on this lead, the police tracked down Jagseer and arrested him near Indira Colony in Tohana. When they searched his backpack, they discovered an additional 4.005 kilograms of heroin. Officials confirmed that Jagseer, 27, had been involved in drug trafficking for some time and previously worked as a driver.
