The team retained only two players, Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh, while releasing a significant number of players, including Shikhar Dhawan, who has retired. PBKS entered the auction with the largest budget among all franchises. They retained Singh for Rs 4 crore and Singh for Rs 5.5 crore. The team also holds four Right To Match cards for capped players.
