A lucky bettor won €115,000 with a small wager at Southwell Racecourse over the weekend. The punter, who remains anonymous, started with a bet of under £24 and ended up winning nearly £100,000 on Friday night. The bettor had an impressive run, accurately picking the winners of four races. The betting strategy included a £1 Lucky 15, which consists of four single bets, several doubles, and trebles. The other part was a £5 straight four-fold bet. The first race was especially dramatic. The 2/1 favorite, Legal Reform, was leading but lost at the last moment to the 14/1 shot, Dutch Kingdom. This exciting finish set the stage for the following wins. The other horses, King Of Fury, Toby Tops, and Sevensees, also won their races, bringing the overall winnings to £96,578. Bookmaker Alex Apati remarked on the luck involved in the winnings, especially the close finish in the first race. He highlighted that this feat makes it one of the best bets seen in recent years, with the dramatic early race being a key moment.
