Putnam County man arrested for sexual misconduct charges
A man from Putnam County has been arrested on sexual misconduct charges involving a 14-year-old girl. Casey W. Grayson, 40, of Reelsville, is facing several serious charges. These include two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor involving intercourse or other sexual acts, one count of sexual misconduct involving fondling, and ten counts of possessing child pornography. The Indiana State Police (ISP) began investigating after receiving allegations that Grayson had inappropriately touched the girl. The investigation found evidence supporting these claims. Authorities say Grayson also had child pornography in his possession. The Putnam County Prosecutor's Office issued an arrest warrant for Grayson. He was taken into custody on March 18 by an ISP SWAT Team. The arrest was made without any incidents. Grayson is currently being held in the Putnam County Jail with a bond set at $250,000, which must be paid in cash. The investigation was supported by Susie’s Place, an organization that helps victims of sexual abuse.
