Question paper shortage caused panic among Ludhiana students
Students at the School of Eminence in Ludhiana faced a stressful situation during their Class 12 economics exam. A shortage of about 25 question papers caused a 30-minute delay. Many students did not receive their papers on time and initially panicked. However, the papers arrived later, and students were given extra time to complete the exam. Principal Vishwakirat Kahlon explained that the issue originated from the Punjab school education board. The school quickly informed the board, which helped arrange the missing papers from another center to avoid disadvantaging any student. After the exam, students felt the economics paper was manageable. In contrast, the Class 10 English exam posed a greater challenge for students. Pooja Sharma, a teacher at Government Senior Secondary School, mentioned that the paper was time-consuming and tricky, making it difficult for students to complete in the allotted time. On a more positive note, the Class 12 Accounts exam was described as balanced in difficulty. Pritpal Singh, a commerce teacher at Sacred Heart Convent School, said it effectively tested students' knowledge and application skills. Similarly, the Class 10 physics exam conducted by ICSE received a favorable response. Rajat Anand, a physics teacher at Sacred Heart School, noted that the exam included mostly application and diagram-based questions. He mentioned that there were a couple of tricky multiple-choice questions, but overall, the paper had a moderate level of difficulty.
